Baptism

Baptism

The sacrament of baptism is the foundation of a Catholic’s sacramental life, and is the first sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church. Baptism is available to all ages, from infants to adults. We offer baptism classes for parents and godparents interested in getting their child baptized, as well as more comprehensive classes for adults seeking baptism for themselves. Please email: [email protected]

Baptism For Children

Baptism is a beautiful Sacrament through which God brings humanity closer to Himself by cleansing each person of his or her sin. We at St. John XXIII are happy to help each family and individual in their relationship with God by walking with you through this process. We recommend that families begin this process 3 months before the child is born. If you are seeking baptism for a child who is over the age of 7, please contact us directly to get more information about the process. If you are an adult seeking baptism, please look into our “Becoming Catholic” Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) process.
