Join us for evening prayer with a relic of the Heart of Saint John Vianney. The relic will remain in the Church over night and made available for public veneration from 7:00pm – 11:00am in the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel.
THE SOLEMNITY OF THE ASCENSION WILL BE CELEBRATED ON SUNDAY MAY 29 (WITH THE VIGIL ON SATURDAY MAY 28).
Fr Rocco Porter was ordained to the priesthood in 1997 and served as parochial vicar at Queen of Peace until 2001 when he became the Pastor at St. Peter Catholic Parish in Greeley. During his tenure at St. Peter’s, Fr Rocco worked to build up Bear Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Northern Colorado. In 2011 he was moved to St. John XXIII in Fort Collins to focus on building up Ram Catholic Campus Ministry at Colorado State University (CSU). Fr Rocco is very passionate about serving college students through Campus Ministry and is currently working on the undeniable presence building project to build a beautiful and visible church to serve CSU.
